Casas del Bosque Reserva Pinot Noir, 75 cl Red Wine

Deliciously well balanced Pinot Noir from Chile. Abundant, juicy berried fruit with hints of chocolate.

Description

Casas del Bosque was founded in 1993 by Juan Cuneo Solari and was one of the first wineries in the Casablanca Valley. Today it is still family owned and managed. The Cuneo's have 245 hectares of vines in Santa Rosa on the west side of the Casablanca Valley.

Tasting notes

This medium bodied red win is an excellent example of the strides Chile has made in recent years in improving the quality of Pinot Noir wines. Medium bodied it may be, but there is bags of berried flavours and dark chocolate notes to keep any palate interested.

1870 Sour Cocktail Recipe

The 1870 Sour, also known as the New York Sour ,updates the Whiskey Sour recipe (whiskey, lemon, sugar, egg white) with a float of dry red wine. (Psst, a float is when you suspend the final ingredient on top of the drink!). Everyone loves a good layered cocktail. They are fun to make and look amazing in photos - perfect for Instagram.
