Casas Del Bosque Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon, 75 cl Red Wine

Rich and textured tannins ensure this is a satisfying red wine. Flavour wise think cherries, cinnamon and cloves.

Description

Casas del Bosque was founded in 1993 by Juan Cuneo Solari and was one of the first wineries in the Casablanca Valley. Today it is still family owned and managed. The Cuneo's have 245 hectares of vines in Santa Rosa on the west side of the Casablanca Valley.

Tasting notes

This red wine is a result of grapes grown at the foot of the Andes Mountains in Chile's Rapel Valley. You will find a wine of terrific structure and excellent flavour- full of cherries, cinnamon, clove, mint, tobacco and even a hint of espresso coffee. Very, very enjoyable indeed.

1870 Sour Cocktail Recipe

The 1870 Sour, also known as the New York Sour ,updates the Whiskey Sour recipe (whiskey, lemon, sugar, egg white) with a float of dry red wine. (Psst, a float is when you suspend the final ingredient on top of the drink!). Everyone loves a good layered cocktail. They are fun to make and look amazing in photos - perfect for Instagram.
