Kahlua

What do a White Russian, a Black Russian, a Mudslide, and an Espresso Martini all have in common? They all need Kahlua, the spirit synonymous with coffee liqueur, in order to shine. Proudly made with 100% Arabica coffee beans and rum, Kahlua was born in Veracruz, Mexico in 1936. The tale of how it was created is nothing short of adorable. Two friends were experimenting with spirit infusions, and when they added coffee to rum, their minds were blown. Kahlua became a fully fledged concept and quickly gained popularity in the States, where its quirky ads celebrating Mexican culture made it a household name.

Kahlua source both their rum and their coffee responsibly, but becoming more environmentally conscious isn't the only change the brand's made in the last couple of decades.
