The complexity of this liqueur is taken up several notches down to Grand Marnier only using Cognac of an XO standing- meaning that the spirit is of at least 10 years but likely to be considerably more than that. The result is refined oranges and Cognac with hints of tobacco and light spices.

Description

The original distillery was built in 1827 on the outskirts of Paris, although the name Grand Marnier would not become used until a number of years later towards the end of the 19th  Century. The product’s close ties with The Ritz are a legacy of the great Cesar Ritz’s influence in the product’s naming.
