Using Cognac of at least a VSOP standard means that the whole feel of Louis Alexandre is a lifted version of the original Grand Marnier. The result is a liqueur full of intense Cognac flavours enhanced by macerated citrus flavours and just a hint of Earl Grey tea. The product itself is named after Louis Alexandre Marnier who first came up with the idea of combining Cognac to Orange Liqueur.

Description

The original distillery was built in 1827 on the outskirts of Paris, although the name Grand Marnier would not become used until a number of years later towards the end of the 19th  Century. The product’s close ties with The Ritz are a legacy of the great Cesar Ritz’s influence in the product’s naming.
