Whitley Neill Sloe Gin, 70 cl
£22.79
Inspired by the English Countryside and spending time with his Mother. Johnny Neill delivers a Sloe Gin that's inspired by her and her traditions. When growing up Johnny remembers fondly foraging for Sloes during September and October at their farm in Devon. Together steeping their Sloe's for a little longer, and adding less sugar than most, giving a deeper and more rounded flavour. We continue to steep our sloe berries for between six and nine months to extract as much depth of flavour as possible.

Description
Whitley Neill has a tagline of "Made In England, Inspired by Africa" and if the ingredients are anything to go by they've not only stayed true to that sentiment, they've been ferociously innovative too. When gin making has been in your family for 8 generations you can get off the beaten track and still produce drinks of premium quality like Whitley Neill does again and again.
Tasting notes
Chewy red berry fruitiness of stone fruit , plum and ripened black cherries with hints of cassia bark.

Nouveau Sangaree Cocktail Recipe
Not to be confused with Sangria, which might be Spanish in origin. But who say you can’t put an international spin on it the classic and popular cocktail? That’s exactly what famous New York City bartender and author Jim Meehan does with the Nouveau Sangaree, a Sangria twist with French and New England elements. While still bright and cheering, the drink has a lovely autumnal quality to it. And, rather than making a whole pitcher’s worth, this recipe is for single servings.
