Founded in 1970 by Mr Roberto Cavalli a passionate art seeker and a renowned designer who gave the world of leather a new face by introducing them to his innovative design techniques.

This success paved the path to his first debut runway show at the Palazzo Pitti's legendary sala Bianca where the florentine designer presented an avant-garde women's collection setting a mark in the fashion world.

Supported by his wife Eva, he established the Roberto Cavalli line with an Italian and Mediterranean spirit, making it the most glamorous, luxurious, and refined expression of the company’s DNA. The creative use of prints, high-end treatment of precious materials, flattering silhouette designs infused with a feminine, modern and dynamic attitude define the code of the label.

Under the creative direction of Paul Surridge, the Roberto Cavalli Maison embraces a refreshed heritage style yet very contemporary.
