Woodcutter Brown Ale, Big Drop Brewing, 330 ml Beer

Another cracking low alcohol beer from Big Drop. Malt-focused with a toasty aroma and soft grassy notes. There’s also a touch of fruit and caramel. Delicious with a good beef stew

Description

Big Drop was launched in October 2016 by the-then City lawyer Rob Fink and James Kindred following their disappointing experiences around non alcoholic beers available at the time.

With the assistance of experimental brewer, Johnny Clayton (formerly of Wild Beer), they have perfected techniques to make alcohol-free craft beer without the need for artificial removal of alcohol. The result does not compromise on taste and yet is no more than 0.5% ABV.

On tasting we were truly taken aback. There is true flavor and diversity in their range and will definitely not leave the non drinkers feeling left out.

Tasting notes

Malty, toasty low alcohol beer

Beer Margarita Cocktail Recipe

It's beerita time! Who would believe that beer would be the perfect solution to eradicating fluorescent green margaritas? Well, it is. Best to use not-so-micro brews to avoid an overpowering beer flavor. Use the limeade can to measure the ingredients, and adjust with extra water if the mixture seems too sweet. Straining the pulp is always a good idea unless, of course, you like pulp.
