Laurent-Perrier’s Prestige Cuvee Champagne is presented here in a magnum- considered to be the perfect vessel for storing Champagne. Whilst not a Vintage Champagne it has been stored in the Champagne House’s cellars for over 10 years and thus displays a wonderful array of flavours backed by lovely buttery notes (think croissants just out of the oven).

Description

Laurent-Perrier can date its beginnings back as far as 1812, over 200 years ago. However the Champagne house truly blossomed soon after the Second World War. It is hard to believe at that time the company only employed some 20 people, compared to its now truly International reach being available in over 160 countries. Much of the credit for Laurent-Perrier’s success must be laid at the feet of firstly Marie-Louise de Nonacourt who ensured the business survived the war and then Bernard de Nonacourt (Marie’s son) who oversaw the expansion.
