Description

Originally built over 130 years ago the Kopparberg brewery the modern look to Kopparberg is almost entirely down to Peter and Dan-Anders Bronsman who re-opened the brewery in 1994. Their desire to re-establish both the brewery and its original recipes was put sorely to the test only a year later when the brewery was burnt down in a fire. It is to their credit that rather than seeing the fire as a set back the view was that this was more of an opportunity or rebirth. The brewery remains on its original site in the town of Kopparberg.

Unfortunately when the product got delivered by DPD it was also smashed, with the delivery driver telling me it was like that to start with. The bottles had smashed inside and the whole parcel had a nice strawberry smell. I emailed straight away with some photos, a few days later they replied asking for photos (clearly not seeing the ones I had already sent), I sent these in and then a few days later got a reply to say the item would be re shipped. Ten minutes later I got another email saying it was out of stock and I would just get a refund.
