Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky invokes the spirit of quite probably the greatest explorer and leader of men to ever put pen to paper; Sir Ernest Shackleton. As legendary as they come, Shackleton has been immortalised in the history books as a man who thrived in the face of adversity. He was also an inspirational figurehead who loved his men nearly as much as he loved a drop of Scotch. On his 1907 expedition to the Antarctic, Shackleton ordered 25 cases of fine Scotch to boost morale. Some 100 years later in 2007, three cases were found, perfectly preserved beneath the ice where his basecamp had once been.
