Wyoming Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 75 cl
£43.99
This grain-to-bottle bourbon utilizes grain (corn, wheat, and malted barley) sourced within 100 miles from the distillery in Wyoming. Released in batches so ages (and tasting profiles) will vary; this batch released in the summer of 2014 is over 4 years old. It's refreshingly aged in standard 53 gallon oak barrels instead of much smaller barrels young distilleries tend to use as they help hasten the aging process.

Description
We make bourbon in small batches at our distillery in Kirby, Wyoming. From day one, every drop of Wyoming Whiskey was made in Kirby and aged in one of our six rick houses. That’s not true of every whiskey you run into. We don’t pass judgment, but it means a lot to us and we hope it means something to you.
Tasting notes
Dark char, raw rope, and a lot of vanilla

Bourbon Old Fashioned Recipe
The Old Fashioned is one of the OG whiskey cocktails in modern record, thought to be developed way back in the early 1800s. Though there's too many modern variations to count, the classic Old Fashioned is understood as a simple combination of whiskey (usually bourbon or rye), sugar and aromatic bitters.
