Tiptree English Quince Gin Liqueur, 35 cl
£19.49
Those Wilkin & Sons folks are back at it with this Tiptree English Quince Gin Liqueur. Quince is often used in jams and conserves, and now the orchard fruit has taken a boozy twist! The autumnal tipple is made with quinces from the Tiptree farm in Essex, and the end result is a satisfyingly sweet and tart liqueur. Step it up a notch and splash into a glass of Prosecco, and voilà! You have a quince Gin Royale. Or even just sip alongside a lovely cheese board, in place of a quince jam.

Description
The first ‘Tiptree’ conserves were made in 1885 on the Tiptree estate and are still made here to this day. Fruit crops include strawberries, loganberries, mulberries and damsons to name but a few. Our signature fruit is the Little Scarlet strawberry, a tiny wild variety, originally brought to the UK by the Wilkin family in the early 1900's. We believe that we are unique in the world in growing this difficult crop, but it is worth it for the quality of conserve it provides.
Tasting notes
Orchard fruit sweetness, with notes of tart apple skin coming through and distinct notes of quince.

Gin & Tonic Cocktail Recipe
Gin & Tonic. If you can say it, you can make it. Right? Right. But also, not exactly. The two-ingredient cocktail requires your undivided attention. From glassware to garnish to style of gin and spirit proof, everything should be carefully considered when mixing a G&T.
