Macallan have really pushed the boat out in creating this opulent and rare whisky. 16 (yes 16) different oak casks have been used to age the whisky thus ensuring it is a whisky of great complexity and furthermore the House has gone on to state that some of these barrels will never be used by them again. Just about every flavour arena is represented with your palate at once excited by fruit, spice, oak all washed down by a distinct impression of chocolate. Yum!

Rob Roy Cocktail Recipe
If there was ever a cocktail to make you feel the glitz and glamour of the history and chic society of New York, it's ordering a Rob Roy. The Rob Roy is a riff on a Manhattan, with their only difference being the base liquor. A Rob Roy is made using blended Scotch while a Manhattan is made with Rye. As such, the cocktail is malty and smooth, with a bit of spice on the finishing end.
