Barware

Well, it really depends on what type of bar you're starting. If you're starting a cocktail bar, you'll need shakers, strainers, jiggers, and muddlers. If you're starting a wine bar, you'll need wine glasses, corkscrews, and bottle openers. And if you're starting a beer bar... well, you get the idea. But in general, there are a few essentials that every bar should have: shot glasses, beer mugs or pint glasses, wineglasses, and coasters. And of course, don't forget the booze!

A barware set typically includes a shaker, jigger, strainer, and tongs. But there are all kinds of variations, so it's best to check before you buy. Some sets might also include a julep strainer, muddler, or Hawthorne strainer. And of course, the size and quality of the set will vary.
