Watermelon-Manarita-Recipe The Bottle Club

Incase you didn't know, the Manarita is a margarita featuring Dwayne Johnson's Tequila brand Teremana. The refreshing cocktail, which boasts Teremana Blanco as its base, is also made with fresh watermelon pieces, agave nectar, lime juice and water. If The Rock says watermelon margaritas are the drink of the summer, then you better believe it’s the drink of the summer.

It’s hard to pinpoint the exact origins of the original Margarita, but some claim it was invented at a bar in Juárez, Mexico, in 1942. It certainly seems to be a descendent of other classic cocktails at the time, such as The Sidecar and The Daisy. Either way, the unique taste of this classic drink has been loved for generations and is sure to transport you to a sunny Mexican beach in no time.
