Snakebite Cocktail Recipe
This classic British Snakebite mixes equal parts lager and apple cider in a pint glass for a light and refreshing beverage. The classic UK Pub favourite is usually made with a crisp lager, whereas in the United States, the Snakebite is more commonly made with a heavier, darker beer—like a stout. Regardless of your preferences, cider is a key part.
To add an extra kick of citrusy flavour, some bartenders will incorporate a few dashes of blackcurrant cordial to the top of the drink (known in the UK as a Snakebite and Black), however this is optional. If you're simply looking to keep it classic, serve this drink in a pint glass with no ice, and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser.
