Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoons pumpkin butter
  • 1/3 cup apple cider
  • 2 oz White Tequila
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pomegranate juice (for rimming)

Method

  1. Combine coarse sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and cayenne on a small plate. Rim the glass by dipping it in a thin layer of pomegranate juice, then into the sugar mixture.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, mix pumpkin butter, apple cider, tequila, and orange liqueur. Shake well, fill with ice, and shake for another minute.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared glass.
  5. Top off with apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and a sprinkle of the cinnamon-sugar mix.
