INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tsp ground paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle dark stout beer
  • 1/2 cup bourbon

METHOD

  1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes stirring frequently until garlic is soft and fragrant.
  2. Add rest of ingredients and stir to combine.
  3. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Transfer to glass jar and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
